I'm using Q2 modeller (finally got rid of error messages galore!) and I have no problem with creating the basic skin, but I'm wondering if there is a way to set the direction that Q2mod takes the skin from (besides front and back). Does Quake2 only map textures onto polys from front and back? It would make my life much easier if this could be modified, but if it's not possible, I'll have to modify my model so that the important areas of the skin are facing front or back, so that I can skin them effectively.
