Having to download a new model all the time
is a pain in the arse. I'd much rather have a pak
of models with accompanying code, so instead of
skins, you have models.
Besides, you'd get all sorts of lamers with crappo
models, making the game look like SHIT.
And finally, some people could create models with
10 000 000 faces, slowing the game for down to
everyone except them (because they don't see
their own model.)

: Not if servers controlled the allowable player
:models. if you made yourself really small, the
:server just wouldn't allow it, since it would
:have a copy of it, and they'd judge it unfair, :so you wouldn't be allowed to play as it.
