: I've finished my first ppm using lightwave 5.5 and want to convert it to an .MD2 I've got the frames saved as .lwo files, but qdata doesn't seem to want to convert it... here's what it all looks like...

: I've tried two different LW modified qdata's, one that re-orients the models direction, and one that doesn't, both with the same effect. Everything is in a models/antboy subdirectory of quake2/baseq2, and here's what happens...

: I run qdata with the following args...

: qdata -lwo -nolbm antboy.qdt

: and here's what I get back...

: loading .lwo files
: skipping .lbm files
: ------------------ antboy.qdt -------------------
: entering C:\Quake2\baseq2\models\antboy\antboy.qdt
: grabbing /ant001.lwo
: reader: could not open file '/ant001.lwo

: then the program ends. I've tried making the list both with and without the .lwo extension, naming the actual frames both with and without the .lwo extension. The files ARE .lwo files and load up fine in Lightwave 5.5, and when I converted one to .3ds, q2modeller imported it fine. And if I flip the norms in LW, q2m load .lwo as well. Oh yeah, I've also tried it with and without including the base frame (base.lwo) and run into the exact same problem. Flipping the norms doesn't change anything :(

: I originally tried running it all from a directory that wasn't a sub of quake2 and couldn't even get that far.

: Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

: I can't wait to try setting up the skin :)
