Let me first start out by saying I am very new to this. I am using Animation Master '98 to create my models and animations. Then using a plugin to export to .3ds files. Using qdata to read the files to make a .md2 file (with the -3ds option). My problem is my model looks off center and screwed up in quake2. I think it may have to do with both the $origin parameter in the qdata data file, and possibly even my normals on the model. I would really like some more information on the parameters and options for qdata for both the command line and the command file (more than what is in the FAQ). Anybody, help a newbie please.

The plugin for AM '98 to export to .3ds is one that I just wrote, and seems to work really well. No more conversion headaches (frame by frame junk). I may need some testers for it if anybody is interested (I dont know how many people use AM '98 for modeling).

Thanks in advance,
Arthur
