Probably not. Generally someone needs your ip
address. If someone really wants to hack into
your machine. I suppose it would be useful.
However, so would your email address for that
matter. In fact your email address is more
dangerous. If you send me an email. I can
trace it back to your originating server, and
possibly your originating ip address. So, things
like your ethernet card id are irrelivant to a
hacker most of the time. Unless they just want
to know. Don't worry, I'm not a hacker and don't
want to hack into your machine. I also doubt
that the prople on this board want to either. ;)
