: : I have a really old version of 3DStudio, (R3) and I like the way the keyframer fits in all the "between" frames when using TRACKs and KEYs- Is it possible to use Lightwave/Q2Modeller/QMe to read the keyframer data and start a model?

: : Or is there any other program that uses keys to automatically generate the inbetween frames?

: : I _HATE_ animating things frame-by-frame, especially for idle frames and weapons.

: : Any help would be appreciated.

: Hmmm its been a long time since I used dos 3ds (back in version 1 days)
: Latest version of q2modler supports lightwave files, tho I don't know lightwave so I can't enlighten you more than that.
: If you batch export your frames to ascii in max you can batch import them into q2m as well. Max plugin for this and latest q2m are at:

: Maybe Mr. Martin can tell you if there is anything out there for older versions of 3ds.

Well whatever- Who's Mr.Martin?

But shouldn't the 3DS file contain the keyframer info? And if it does, shouldn't there be a way to get it out of there someway?

And if not, is there any other program that generates in between frames?

(I've already got the max plugin and Q2Modeller, just in case I decide to go out and buy it- yea... right)

Thanks for replying.
