you can find good tutorials on this page
that uses 3dsmax. Most 3d programs are very similar. I'm trying to work on a simple
tutorial right now on creating md2, but its very basic and is just a write up of the process, besides that i'm still in the learning stages.
Allot of practice is all i can say.
