Hmm. That is really strange. Based on what has been happending with max, the only solution I can think of is to flip the normals in the Modeller. Just goto Face Select Mode and select all the required faces, and then in the Modify Panel, Jut do flip normals
: Whenever I import a certain 3ds file into modeller, one of the legs always has the triangles facing the wrong way (the faces are on the inside). I go into max again, and flip it, import again, and its still flipped wrong. I repeat this process and nothing really seems to get it to do it right.
