3dmax4 with xp still not running

hi,

my 3dmax4 is still not running with xp. I got the cdilla from discreet, and your authorization code. but I always got stuck with the authorization code.
do I have to install the cdilla in a special place? or do I have to get rid of the cadilla licences management system? or can you give me please any other advise.
