Ok, I have a little bit of a problem with the skin on a model
that I made. I pain the skin normal, as I would expect it to
be seen. Looks great. I import it into quake, and I look at
the colors, and I go, hey, why are some of the colors screwed
up, I thought that I had the correct pallette.
Then I switch from 3DFX Gl to Software, and everything looks
great. Then I say HMMM, why are the colors screwed up? I walk
in front of a bright light source, and guess what happens to
the colors? They get messed up in a similar fassion to what
was happening before. So my thought is this: The Gl Renderer
preshades the skins before loading them as textures, and it
shades them using the highest intensity light it can find.
Anyone come accross this problem or is it only me? And is
there such a thing as a gama flag on the model that could be
set?
