I had that problem before.
what i did was put qdata.exe in the directory were all the frames were.
: I'm new to the world of modeling for quake or quake2 and I just finished making my model in Max. My problem is that when I try to convert the .3ds file into a .md2 file Qdata can't find my base.3ds.
: Here is the contents of my goal.qgr file:
: $modelname goal.md2
: $origin 0 0 24
: $base base
: I also tried adding the line "$cd stuff" and putting my base.md2 in that directory but that didn't work either. Everything I have tried has resulted in an "ERROR /base.3ds does not exist". I don't know what I'm doing wrong...
