3Dfx Variables

make a .bat command that will launch Quake2 and set these varialbes

SET SST_GAMMA=1.9
SET SST_SCREENREFRESH=60
SET SST_GRXCLK=57 <------this is the overclocking variable for 3Dfx cards, 50 is factory default, anything above 57 could be risky.
SET SST_FASTMEM=1
SET SST_PCIRD=1
SET SST_SWAP_EN_WAIT_ON_VSYNC=0
SET FX_GLIDE_SWAPINTERVAL=0
quake2.exe %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7 %8 %9

If you get the 'out of environment space' error, add this line to your config.sys and reboot and start your Quake2 .bat command again:
